Have you ever gotten up early to watch the sun rise only to find it hidden behind a misty veil and then waited for it to shine in its entire splendor? If you have, you’d know the joy of all those moments and if you haven’t then... you have got to try it out someday. Really. It is something so beautiful; that it never fails to inspire, to leave you in awe.
Sunrise in Kerala
So when my fellow blogger friend and an ardent traveler Santosh of Huchchara Santhe asked me for a guest post on completing 5 years of his blogging journey, sunrise was the first topic to come to my mind analogous to a wish that his blog continues to explore and discover something new and exciting each day, every morning!

Too much light pollution to really appreciate sunset/rise on a regular basis where I live, I have however had the luck to view both in other parts of the world and you are so right.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was living in Siem Reap, Cambodia I used to get up very early to see the sun rise at Angkor Wat Temple. This was something very beautiful. Yours is also very nice :)

ReplyDeleteLike you I love watching the sun rise as I feel that with it rising all the evil in the world has to go away to be replaced a new peace, a new good. In the same way the sunset with its vibrant colours takes away the fatigue of the day leaving us with the light of the moon to talk to.
Beautiful feelings those Mehroo, sunrise and sunsets do provide ample of moments for quiet contemplations and reflections like these. :)
DeleteSo true Arti, i always spend even just a minute to stop at the bridge where i can see perfectly sunrise every morning before go to work. And i don't know why, the warm light and the colour of sunrise bring me the happy feel, next time i will take the pic of indonesia sunrise for you :)

ReplyDeleteI know I have to hold my horse till the sun reveals itself though the day has already broken. I think the feeling to admire nature grows in the quietude. I'd like to be more sensitive to the real beauty of nature I usually take for granted in everyday life.

Thank you for your inspirational comment, cosmos. I think, yes. The things that we get easily and everyday are most often the things that we take for granted, nature being one of them. Sensitivity is just the right word we needed here -- we all need to inculcate in ourselves a fair bit of patience and receptiveness so that we can take in and enjoy the boundless joys that nature has to offer.
